In shopping centers, lighting can also be a strategy for flow. At Fórum de Ipanema, a ground-level shopping center, the main challenge was avoiding the tunnel effect, that sense of a long, uniform path that wears visitors down without them realizing it.

The solution was to treat lighting as a living element that transforms throughout the day. Instead of creating variations along the route, we developed dynamic lighting capable of changing the perception of the space as natural light shifts, keeping the environment visually comfortable, interesting, and welcoming at different times.

The project is built on a principle that guides our work in commercial spaces: respecting and enhancing the relationship between natural and artificial light.
