The former home of a renowned French chef in Jardim Botânico was a space full of history, identity, and Rio soul. In collaboration with Orlando Marques, our goal was to light this setting with subtlety, respecting the essence of the house and integrating the spaces naturally.
The area that required the most care was the veranda: we preserved the integrity of the modernist slab by avoiding any fixtures mounted on it, and solved the lighting indirectly, with light coming from the garden floor. The result is a light that converses with the architecture without interfering with it: welcoming, elegant, and technically precise.
