Descritivo

Housed within the historic structure of Pacaembu Stadium, the Football Museum challenged us to design lighting that serves stories rather than simply illuminating spaces. Each gallery is conceived to evoke a distinct emotional response—from immersive and energetic to quiet and contemplative, and LD Studio developed lighting systems synchronized with multimedia elements to deepen and enrich the visitor experience.

Our guiding principle was to intervene as little as possible in the stadium’s original architecture. Linear lighting systems and discreet spotlights were carefully integrated into the building’s existing language, enhancing the space without competing with its historic character. In the museum’s most dramatic environments, such as the Exaltação (Celebration) Gallery, lighting works in perfect synchrony with sound and video to create an experience that transcends the traditional exhibition format, transforming the history of football into a powerful sensory journey.
