Copacabana Palace – Facade

For 20 years, we’ve had the privilege of lighting the Copacabana Palace, one of the world’s most iconic hotels, recognized by the Michelin Guide with two keys, a distinction celebrating an exceptional stay and one of the highest honors in world hospitality. Over that time, light has become part of the relationship between the hotel and the city, between the Art Deco façade and the shoreline it overlooks.

We were invited to renew this lighting in celebration of the hotel’s centennial, a project that goes beyond a technical update. It’s an act of care for the memory, history, and soul of a piece of Rio heritage that continues to enchant the world.
