Descritivo

The Pier Mauá Cranes are one of LD Studio’s most beloved and award-winning projects. In 2017, the lighting for this intervention won two of the most prestigious awards in the international industry: the Darc of Darcs — Winner of the Year, given to the year’s most-voted project, and the Darc Award in the Structures Low Budget category.

Beyond the technical recognition, the awards reflected what this project represents: the ability to turn industrial elements into a poetic experience, to find beauty where it wasn’t expected, and to make light a gesture of urban reinvention. A project that remains alive in the memory of the city—and in ours.
